Accounting Specialist - Indonesia

We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team asAccounting Specialist - IndonesiaThis is a permanent position located on Raute Service Indonesia (Surabaya).In this role, you will be part of the Raute Service Indonesia team. Your main responsibilities, together with the team, are:Preparing and maintaining journal entries in D365 and our local accounting software.Managing accounts receivable and payable functions.Performing invoicing activitiesMaintaining a fixed asset register and calculating depreciation.Performing bank reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, advance reconciliations, tax reconciliations, and other supporting details with the general ledger accounts.Preparing the COGS report based on inventory data and standard cost provided by the company.Preparing the trial balance, general ledgers, and supporting schedules.Preparing monthly financial statements in bi-lingual format (Indonesian-English).Coordinating with the tax team regarding tax matters.Supporting the import and export process as needed.Supporting global accounting activities.Follow safety rules and practices set by the company.Perform all duties assigned.The role requirementsA diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.Experience in financial accounting in the plywood, manufacturing, or logistics industry is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, especially in English.Must be well-organized and have a high attention to detail.Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft D365, and other accounting software (e.g., Xero, Journal).Knowledge of import, export, and taxation is a benefit.Strong interpersonal qualities including leadership, teamwork, integrity, and respect.Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment, work well under pressure, and prioritize workload effectively.We would like you to have good teamwork skills and a service attitude.
