This pivotal role will support our business by managing and supporting trials across the End User, Process Equipment, and Pump Business Units within the South East Asia territory.This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety cultureCollaborate with the Aftermarket team to implement strategic business objectives and performance measures.Manage the planning, execution, and reporting of trials, ensuring alignment with business goals.Provide technical sales support and expertise to clients, fostering strong relationships.Conduct regular site visits to clients in the Asia-Pacific region to understand their needs and deliver solutions.Analyze trial data to inform product development and improve customer satisfaction.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless trial operations.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Trade Qualified or Bachelor Degree)Proven experience in process equipment, pump technology, and the aftermarket sector, in particular experience working on slurry pumps or the Weir Warman Pump.Strong technical sales background with the ability to engage and persuade stakeholders.Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering results.Willingness to travel and work in both office and field environments.Ability to travel to client sites in the South East Asia regionFounded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
