Surveillance Officer

Surveillance Officer Position Overview: The Surveillance Officer is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and reporting any suspicious activities to ensure the safety and security of the premises and its occupants. This role involves the use of surveillance equipment and adherence to protocols to prevent and respond to incidents. Key Responsibilities: Monitor live and recorded footage from surveillance cameras to detect unusual or suspicious activities. Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning properly. Report incidents, potential threats, or security breaches to the appropriate authorities or management. Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks. Collaborate with security personnel and law enforcement as needed. Maintain logs and records of surveillance activities, including incident reports. Ensure compliance with legal and company regulations regarding surveillance and privacy. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is a plus. Experience in surveillance, security, or a related field preferred. Strong observational and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Familiarity with surveillance systems and equipment. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
