Company Overview:Our client is a multinational chemical company, one of the largest specialty chemicals companies in the world. ResponsibilitiesAs Instrument Electrical Engineer / Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of all instrumentation and electrical systems within the plant. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining reliability programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, enhance safety, and maximize the efficiency of our operations.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and electrical systems for chemical plant operations. Prepare design electrical and instrument document and drawing. Conduct reliability assessments and implement reliability improvement programs for all instrumentation and electrical equipment.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential equipment failures.Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability. Provided instrument technical consulting, monitoring and reports. Conducted inspection for electrical and instrument equipment.Develop calculation document for project estimation.Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts for instrumentation and electrical systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and enhance process reliability.Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.Prepare technical documentation, including equipment specifications, maintenance procedures, and reliability reports.Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in instrumentation and electrical engineering.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical engineering within the chemical, petrochemical, or related industry.Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniquesFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations, including ISA, IEEE, and NEC.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis and failure analysis.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
