Ensures that HSSE procedures are adhered to, and proactively strive for good HSSE and quality performance throughout the work.Participates in tool-box meetings and Safety MeetingsWhere required participate in Readiness Reviews prior to starting any piping related construction and welding activities.Proactively assist Contractor in resolving piping construction and welding quality related technical issues that may arise during the execution of work scopes onsite.Liaises with the Construction Piping Field Engineer/s and ensures that the SRU and TEG Modules piping systems are constructed as per project design and Company RequirementsWhere required, reviews and comments on piping ITP, attends and verify, and sign off applicable established inspection points on behalf of the Company.Verifies that Contractor material traceability (i.e. material certificate review against actual material, storage and preservation) and inspection and testing documentation are as per project requirements.Monitors and attends Mechanical Completion activities for the piping discipline.Seeks for continuous improvement of work processes and products within own responsibility area.Liaises with relevant disciplines with regards to interdisciplinary interfaces and releases, NDE, dimensional control, mechanical, structural, coatings, insulation, etc.Daily and weekly reporting to QC Lead on ongoing activities.Contribute to Lessons Learned, experience transfer and Close Out ReportProgressively reviews relevant documents, reports and records (specifications, procedures, P&ID and isometric drawings, material, welding, NDE, dimensional, etc.) and promptly formally report on noted discrepancies or deviations.Where required, carry out and report on assigned surveillance audits on identified piping or welding elements.Participates on Contractor scheduled yard Quality Walks and report any observations, where applicable.Follows up and verifies closure of issues (PARs, CARs, NCRs, etc) and any continues improvement initiatives in the yard.Review, attend and sign off applicable piping hydrotest packages (i.e. completion of piping packages - welding, NDE (per lot size), dimensional checks, etc.).Review, attend and sign off applicable flange management related activities (i.e. flange face condition inspection, correct bolting and gasket hardware used, correct torque / tension applied and marking, including critical connections to equipment flanges).Pressure vessel welding / fabrication inspection.QualificationsTheoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of Piping and Fabrication.Knowledge to applicable project documents, industry procedures and guidelines, recommended practices, standards, and specifications.Proficient in MS Office, experience in use PIMS and Navisworks is an advantage.Experience from working in SE Asia, and in Batam in particular, is an advantageMinimum certification to CSWIP 3.1. Relevant engineering degree, proficiency and certification to any NDE method will be an advantage. Relevant experience from similar positions in other oil & gas projects may make up for formal education.Minimum 10 years relevant experience from oil and gas projects.Join Omega 365 Consulting for:Personalized, hands-on support from our dedicated Omega 365 team membersCollaboration with one of Norway's most prestigious consultant firmsGuidance from experienced department managers, facilitating the development of your project expertiseInternal visa assistance and expert advice for EEA/expat consultantsExcellent opportunities to expand your professional network through project involvement and social gatheringsExclusive benefits including access to holiday houses and cabins in picturesque locations such as Hovden, Hemsedal, Geilo, Hafjell, Oppdal, Voss, Vågsli, Sirdal, Gran Canaria, and ThailandDiverse offerings of events including concerts and exciting excursion, both in Norway and abroad.
