MISSION § Responsible for the management of Method and Maintenance engineering team. § Manage a team of engineers to improve processes, to bring productivity without compromising quality and service level (DT, IE, OEE, NEE, PLT,...), also maintaining the tools and equipment (PM schedule, MTBF, MTTF, ...) § Expert in industrialisation/ manufacturing (Lean Manufacturing, MTM, ergonomics, simulation tools, cost analysis etc) in a plant also in Maintaining tools and equipment (TPM) AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (Describe the nature, scope, level of improvements to new ideas, etc.) LEVEL (Full, Partial, Supportive) MEASUREMENT (Quantitative or quality criteria to achieve responsibility) Management of the teams under his responsibility, ie.
methods / maintenance in a unit and / or a specialized group (competencies pole in a specific technology) Full Span of Control Implementation of SPS principles in the areas of 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, MPH Full SPS score, Manage his team/ time according to SPS/ SIM rules and cycle event of the plant Full SIM effectiveness Manage a continuous improvement process to improve line architectures and reduce Design Times (DT) Full KD Ensure the capacities adaptation according to the dedicated tools (CAMA, CORIM, Bridge) Full CAMA Define & maintain a referential operating time based on measurement tools adapted (MTM-UAS-timer-video analysis) Full KD Ensure the profitability of investments adapted to the needs of optimization and development process (he/she also pilots new production ramp-up) Full Propose the organisation to implement new project (or increase/ decrease volume of production) to optimise DVC & MBC costs Full CAMA Provide guidance to designers on industrial and logistical requirements Full Responsible to setup and maintain the time standards use for production management and costing purposes. Full KD Manage the operator work instructions for training and daily production use. Full OWS/JBS Responsible for the ergonomics in the whole plant through ergonomics diagnose management. Full Ergonomic assessment Annual completion of Schneider-Electric's Principles of Responsibility Training Full Full compliance with local site safety rules and regulations, including completion of all relevant e-learning safety modules on an annual basis Full HIRAC Qualifications REQUIREMENTS Education: Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Years on Job related Experience: >3 years as Manufacturing/ Industrialization manager in a manufacturing environment Knowledge or experience in Lean Manufacturing is beneficial Business Understanding: Understanding of ETO is preferred Geographical Responsibility: 1 Country 2 or more Countries Zone OD Zone - e.g.
