Position : PLC / Automation Engineer Company Overview : Our Client has been incorporated in Indonesia on 11th October 2017 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Polyplex (Thailand) Public Company Limited. The Company is in the process of setting up a Green field PET Film Line with the capacity of 44,000 metric tons per annum along with upstream Resin Plant and downstream Metallizing Plant. The commercial production for the PET film line is expected to start in Q2 2019-20. It will be located in an industrial estate in Serang towards the west of Jakarta and will cater mainly to the domestic market in Indonesia and also the regional / other export markets. The Company has recently announced a new BOPP line adjacent to the PET film line in Indonesia which would help diversify the product offering and provides an opportunity for the Company to grow in a familiar industry. The stated capacity of BOPP film plant is about 60,000 TPA. It is expected to be commissioned in H1 2021-22. Candidate: This role is suited to a PLC, Automation Engineer who has a strong demonstrable PLC background, strong interpersonal skills and can also demonstrate excellent skills in problem solving and analysis with a keen eye for PLCs and VSD. The candidate should possess excellent customer facing skills, and work well under pressure, demonstrating a professional manner, with an ability to identify and focus onto minimize the downtime of machines and Max runtime of the machines. Overview of Role: The role is Purely industry based. The major part of this role required PLC/Drives/Scada Trouble shooting/programming of each areas of factory. This role involves a great deal of communication with the process department during the operation of the machines.. Person from Siemens system house will be added skills and candidate with this experience will be preferred. Responsibilities: Trouble shooting in PLC programs/VSD & Scada systems. Maintenance with other Engineers on implementation PLC/VSD/SCADA software. Use of PLC programming software for Siemens , Schneider, Allen Bradley, Emerson, Mitsubishi PLCs/VSD/Scada troubleshooting and Modifications if required. Ability to work in A/B/C Shifts if required. Maintenance of plant/Preventive maintenance. (Electrical and Electronics Dept) General all round maintenance of all PLC/Drives/Scada as well as other equipment of the plant as per guidelines provided by Dept Head.. Minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience in PLC solutions with a min of 2 of the following ( Siemens , Emerson, Schneider, Allen Bradley) Demonstrable experience in controls systems design and application SCADA WinCC/Flexible, Emerson, InTouch or similar Knowledge of all Microsoft office applications Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database Manager.
