Whatever your skills and experience, we’ll help you to thrive in our inclusive culture.About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and executionally focused Production Supervisor to play a key role in upholding our high standards, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of safety and ownership. You will be responsible for implementing Diageo's Governance Standards (MAKE) and leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.Key Tasks / AccountabilitiesUpholding standards through practices Responsible to establish Diageo’s Governance Standards in respective area and implement MAKE codification thoroughlyPlan, implement and work with cross functions to provide day to day resources to achieve MAKE targets.Lead and work with cross function the change management processes for MAKE Function.Lead 5S implementation to follow 5S standard.Prioritize safety by setting high standard in daily operation, conducting risk assessment, reviewing daily Permit to Work and Job Safety Analysis by internal and external workers. Responsible to manage operations to produce products in right quality and right quantity and in efficient approach.Conduct routine safety and food safety daily walk about to find out incompliance finding to standard and provide action to tackle. Encourage team to close finding of internal and external audits.Lead and implement Tier 2 codification to set good alignment between shopfloor and standard.Review existing procedures and ensure actual practice in shopfloor follow the standard. Encourage team leader to create proper procedure and work instruction.Problem Solving for Performance Respond immediately to issues as they are exposed.Coach direct reports to identify areas of under-performance.Encourage a breakthrough mind-set to problems faced and empower people to take ownership.Coach individuals and team to use & apply root cause problem solving tools and methodology (5 whys) in daily problem (SIC requirement). Work with cross function to lead or create RCA tools (5Why/8D) in defining root cause and providing correct corrective and preventive actions Accommodate one point lesson for teamManaging Change for Continuous ImprovementLead and work with cross function for management of change. Conduct loss and waste analysis in proper range of time to reduce waste and increase productivityManage setting up time reduction in respective area to increase proper way of working in a more optimized timeDevelop direct reports and employees to be the best they can be through effective breakthrough performance coaching and engagementDeliver personal development plans for all direct reportsAbout YouBachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering)At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing process (preferably in FMCG) with a proven track record in managing people and or small teams and cross functional team workingKnowledge of manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, set up time reduction, reliability centred maintenance.Knowledge of Diageo saving and productivity as part of AOP processWorking knowledge of SAP.Experience of team coaching for successExperience in ISO/HACCP certificationKnowledge and understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (DMAIC, PDCA)Track record of waste and cost saving opportunitiesTrack record of good engagement and communication skillsProficient in use of standard business (MS Office) and Diageo packagesDiversity StatementCelebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo’s purpose of “celebrating life every day everywhere”.
