Your expertise in procurement and negotiation will help optimize costs, maintain efficient inventory levels, and contribute to the hospital's overall operational effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the Procurement Operations Plan, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives.Plan and oversee work activities, identifying potential risks, governance issues, and control measures.Lead the procurement team in investigating incidents, accidents, or quality issues, providing specialized knowledge to resolve them effectively.Ensure that operational procurement adheres to corporate purchasing policies, trust orders, and financial instructions from management.Demonstrate strong leadership skills, being assertive and comfortable making strategic decisions in a commercial context.Manage and mentor a team, working effectively within a multi-functional environment.Apply independent thinking with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance procurement processes.Clarify user targets and requirements, ensuring they are met efficiently and effectively.Oversee the entire procure-to-pay process, coordinating all related activities.Make informed decisions on the purchasing of goods and services, and monitor their delivery progress.Maintain open communication with stakeholders and vendors, fostering strong relationships.Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance.Prepare and maintain detailed reports to maximize business efficiency and support decision-making.Negotiate and secure the most favorable terms with suppliers to benefit the hospital’s procurement strategy.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university, with a minimum GPA of 3.00.At least 5 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably as a Procurement Assistant Manager or similar position in a hospital setting, managing drugs, CAPEX medical equipment, and medical supply consumables.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.In-depth understanding of the MRP cycle and experience with ORACLE software platforms.Good knowledge of pharmacy, medical supplies, and medical equipment.Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other relevant software.Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
