With a strong focus on residential and commercial properties, this company is known for its dedication to creating inspiring and functional spaces that elevate the community.As the Senior Sustainability & Green/Smart Design Architect, you will be a champion for sustainability within the company. You will lead the integration of green and smart design principles into all stages of project development, ensuring that the company's projects minimize environmental impact, maximize resource efficiency, and enhance the well-being of occupants.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and design sustainable solutions for building and project designs, incorporating energy-efficient technologies, eco-friendly materials, and innovative green building strategies.Develop comprehensive sustainability strategies that address energy consumption, waste management, natural ventilation, rainwater harvesting, and other green technologies, based on data-driven analysis of environmental impact.Create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing wayfinding and graphic design systems for public areas and facilities, ensuring both functionality and visual appeal.Design building facades, considering materials, textures, and overall exterior appearance to achieve a harmonious balance between aesthetics and sustainability.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate sustainable design principles into project plans and specifications.Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in green building technologies, materials, and certifications (e.g., GreenShip, EDGE, LEED).Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of sustainability within the team.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (S1) in Architecture.Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture or design, with a strong emphasis on sustainable and green design principles.Proven track record of successfully implementing sustainable design solutions in mixed-use projects.Experience working in both consulting and property development firms is highly desirable.Possess relevant certifications in green building design, such as GreenShip, EDGE, or LEED.Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.Proficiency in relevant design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
